Checking In
As soon as you arrive, you'll want to start unpacking your vehicle. Don't. Your first step is to go to the appropriate check-in location for your hall, which will have two areas set up: Residence Hall Check-In and Activities. There may be a lot of people milling around, so if you need help, look for Residence Life Staff members -- they'll be wearing special gear for easy identification.
Residence Hall Check-In
When you arrive at your check-in location, you will be greeted by our residence hall staff. The staff will ask for your Zip Card I.D. to verify your room assignment. You will receive some quick paperwork to fill out, including an Emergency Contact Card. Also, you will receive a packet of information including your:
- Room key
- Telephone information
- Mailbox information
- Room Condition Report (RCC)
- Residence Hall Handbook
You will then be directed to your floor/room. Once in your room, compare its condition to what is documented on the RCC and return it to the designated location completing the check-in process. If you have any questions about the check-in procedures, ask a staff member.
Activities
Before going to your vehicle, stop at this station for Welcome Weekend Activitiy Books and freebies.
