The information provided on this website is designed to provide important information regarding the Residence Life program and the "on-campus" housing experience.

The Department of Residence Life & Housing is committed to providing a residential living/learning environment which directly supports the educational, social, and personal development of each student. In addition, there are numerous ways in which to get involved on a personal level with your residential community through volunteer leadership opportunities as a Hall Government member, Residence Hall Program Board volunteer, or as a member of the Residence Hall Council. Special programs, major events, exceptional entertainment, staff and hall-sponsored programming, community service and leadership opportunities are all excellent ways to become actively involved. You will soon discover that the residence hall experience is the other half of your University education!

Residence hall rules, regulations, and the expectations the University has for each member of the residence hall community are also provided in this website.

In closing, we remain convinced that the second most important decision a student makes after finalizing their college choice is where they are going to live. UA students do have choices, but we believe none better than a residence hall experience.
