Interpersonal and Public Communication Concentration

Interpersonal and Public Communication is a broad-based area of study which involves understanding how messages are created and delivered for maximum effectiveness in both interpersonal and public communication contexts. Students interested in careers in politics, counseling, social services, human relations, and law, among many others, are especially attracted to this concentration. Coursework emphasizes critical thinking in the service of written persuasive communication excellence, and the oral presentation of messages with precision, dynamism, and charisma.
