I have been employed by the University of Akron since October 1984 as Manager of Central Stores. I am in charge of the Office Supply Program, Shipping & Receiving, Inventory and Surplus Property. Our job entails saving money for the University by purchasing inventory at a cost which is beneficial to all the departments. We also strive to obtain the maximum amount of money available relating to departments Surplus Property by utilizing public sales or auctions.
ACHIEVEMENTS I was instrumental in running 35 University Auctions from 1985 to the present which netted approximately $495,000. I also had the privilege of serving as SEAC’s Board of Trustees Representative for five plus years. This is my fourth term on SEAC. HOBBIES I enjoy playing softball and played in Coed Leagues for 10 years with the women who played for the Zips in the early 1990’s in which we were able to win a half dozen league championships. SOMETHING UNIQUE ABOUT ME I have owned and operated Magic City Sports Cards for the past 21 years. |
