I began working as a student assistant in 1979 for, at the time, what was know as the Computer Center, located in the first Simmons Hall. Working for the Computer Center certainly influenced my academic career. I quickly changed majors and ultimately earned a BS in Computer Science. Although my title and department names have changed often, I have been fundamentally doing the same thing, providing computer assistance to Faculty, Staff, and Students. I have also taught part-time for the Computer Science Department. ACHIEVEMENTS
I developed, maintain, and run a system of Faculty Evaluations for many University of Akron Departments.
HOBBIES
Getting too old for sports, Java development is my new hobby. SOMETHING UNIQUE ABOUT MYSELF
Running a full marathon in high school way back when hair was long and shorts were short. The first 13 miles were a breeze, the second 13 was a struggle, and the final 385 yards were satisfying. |
