The bouldering competition welcomes students and recreation center members of all abilities who are 18 and older.

Time:

• Flight #1-  11am          Pre-Flight competitors meeting starts at 10:45am      *max 40 climbers
• Flight #2-  2:30pm       Pre-Flight competitors meeting starts at 2:15pm        *max 40 climbers

We have a relatively small climbing gym.  In order to accommodate the high level of interest and to maximize the competitor experience (less crowded) we divide our competition into two separate flights.

Registration:
Pre-comp registration is required.  Please email outdooradventure@uakron.edu.
Please provide the following information:

• Name
• Age- All climbers must be 18yrs old or older
• Flight preference
• Your school.  If you are not currently enrolled in school please let us know.  Non students are welcome.
• T-shirt Size- We cannot guarantee t-shirt size however will do our best, sizes will be provided on first come first serve basis (based on registration).  A t-shirt is not guaranteed.

We will collect payment ($20 per competitor) on the day of the competition.  Cash, credit card (Visa, MC, Discover, Zip Card), and personal checks are accepted.  Day of registration begins at 10am and will close at 2pm.  U. Akron students are encouraged to pre-pay prior to the day of the comp.

Comp. Categories: All skill levels are welcome!

• Beginner Female and Male
• Intermediate Female and Male
• Advanced Female and Male

Categories are determined by the final accumulated points.  Climbers will not pre-determine what category they will compete in.

Prizes:
A variety of prizes will be awarded and raffled. Please note; we have limited supply of prizes for this year's competition.

Shoe Rental:
Shoe rentals will be available.  $5.00

Help us out! We request that all climbers use Chalk Balls instead of loose chalk.  It’s no fun to climb in a chalk storm.
