About the Wrestling Club

Wrestling Club's purpose is to promote the sport in practice, matches, tournaments, camps and lectures by great wrestlers. This club gives those who want to wrestle a place to do so and those who want to compete in college wrestling an opportunity to do just that.

Our goal is to bring back wrestling and the pride of Akron wrestling and bring together students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members who loves wrestling and who want to know more about the sport.

We are now competing in the NCWA league founded in Texas for schools like ours to compete in wrestling at a high level.
