I graduated from Kent State University with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology. Currently I work as the Manager of Fitness and Wellness at the University of Akron SRWC and I am furthering my education at the University of Akron by pursuing a Masters degree in Dietetics.
In my free time I like to spend time with my fiance Dedra and visit with friends and family. I’m a huge movie fanatic and can’t wait until the next big blockbuster comes out so I can see it on opening night. I’m the guy who stays after the credits to make sure I don’t miss any hidden scenes. I’m a competitive natural (drug-free) bodybuilder who has had more non-training related injuries than I can count, and I was born with a short leg and had growth stunting surgery when I was 14 to help “even me out”. It didn’t work.
I also enjoy researching new scientific methods of improving the human potential for health and performance and strive to apply those principles in my own life, even though I do enjoy the occasional bag (or two) of Oreos and I’m not one to turn down cheesecake after a nice dinner out with friends.
