About (paragraph about you): I grew up in eastern Pennsylvania and went to Penn State University and majored in Recreation Management. I then moved to Virginia and spent a couple years working as a carpenter and a wilderness backpacking guide. I met my awesome wife Lauren while in Virginia and was married to her in 2006. We moved back to Ohio in 2008 so I could pursue a Master’s Degree in Sport and Recreation Management and work with Kent State University’s Recreational Services. I enjoy all forms of outdoor recreation including climbing, hiking, kayaking, biking, skiing and running and these pursuits have taken me to some great places all over the states. I hold instructor certifications in climbing, river kayaking, CPR, and Wilderness First Aid and would love to chat about any outdoor recreation questions, needs, or stories that you may have. I can be found in the Rec at the wall, working out, in my office at the OASIS, or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
