SRWS - Membership

A membership to the Student Recreation and Wellness Center may be purchased at the Information Office. To schedule an appointment or discuss membership options, please contact us at 330-972-2348.

As a member you can also rent a locker for either a semester, six months, or annually.  In addition to our regular memberships we also offer guest passes,  swim passes and multi-visit passes.

Students
Students enrolled at the main campus are members through the payment of appropriate fees for the current semester. Secondary applicants of students may purchase a membership at special rates.

Alumni
University of Akron alumni (those that have graduated and received a diploma from UA) have the option to purchase a six-month or annual membership. Membership registrations will not be accepted without a government-issued photo identification card, and all members/guests must be 18 years of age. All users are required to sign an informed consent waiver/release form. We also have parking passes available for purchase in the information office.

Faculty & Staff
Faculty and Staff members may use the Ocasek Natatorium at no charge. The purchase of an annual membership to the SRWC will allow access to both facilities.  Please find more information on employee options with Student Recreation & Wellness Services [here].

Community
Community members have the option to purchase an annual membership to the SRWC.
