Crow became the 16th president of Arizona State University on July 1, 2002. Since then he has guided the transformation of ASU into one of the nation's leading public metropolitan research universities, one that is directly engaged in the economic, social, and cultural vitality of its region. (See Crow's complete bio to the right.)
Crow will discuss with the UA and greater Akron regional community the New American University — the role of higher education as a driver for innovation, economic development and social embeddedness in their communities. As in the past, we plan for this to be an interactive session and the small group conversations which follow Crow's presentation will focus on these themes.
