Living-Learning Communities

The Department of Residence Life and Housing in collaboration with University College is proud to offer prospective students the opportunity to participate in one of six living-learning communities. Living-learning communities provide you with strong academic and social support systems during your first year on the Akron campus.

For more information, contact:

Residence Life and Housing
-or-
University College Dean's Office

You can register for a living-learning community during New Student Orientation. Talk to your academic advisor or orientation leader for more information.

Note that space is limited and registering for a living-learning community does not guarantee a residence hall assignment. You must also obtain a housing contract by completing all the necessary housing application requirements.
