Mission Statement:
The Commuter Central staff is committed in helping commuter students identify available resources and to provide services which foster successful college experiences for The University of Akron commuter student. Through education and creative opportunities, we enhance students’ experiences and success culminating in graduation. We value commuter students and their contributions to the University.
Our Goals are to:
•Provide programs and services that directly address the needs of commuter students.
•Inform students of campus events, policies and procedures.
•Serve as an advocate for commuter student concerns.
•Provide off-campus housing, transportation and parking information
•Encourage involvement in campus life beyond the classroom.
