Meet our staff! Commuter Central is comprised of Commuter Student Assistants (CSA) that here to be a sources of information and liaisons between the campus and commuter students. Each CSA is an upperclassmen (we’ve learned a thing or two about college life!) and commutes to campus. We hope that you’ll stop by Commuter Central inside The Hub in the Student Union for a visit!

Cain E-mail: slcommuter@uakron.edu Title: Commuter Central Manager Hometown: Mogadore, OH I am currently the President for the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity and I'm pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Adolescent to Young Adult Education - Integrated Social Studies and a minor in History. I want to one day teach history or government in high school. Also, I've played drums for about 10 years and I'm a huge fan of the TV shows "Scrubs" and "Lost."
	Name: Kellie Geiger E-mail: slcommuter1@uakron.edu Title: Commuter Student Assistant of Communications Hometown: Akron (Ellet), OH I’ve played the violin for 13 years. My goal is to be trilingual. I love to cook and entertain. I hope to travel to as many Spanish-speaking countries as possible.
	Name: Caroline Weir E-mail: slcommuter2@uakron.edu Title: Commuter Student Assistant of Technology Hometown: Doylestown, OH I am studying Marketing and Public Relations. I hope to one day put my schooling to use doing promotions and management for musicians. I love music! I play a few instruments myself, but I enjoy seeing others perform. I combine my love of music and travel by taking trips with friends to see shows.
	Name: Sherome Hathaway E-mail: slcommuter3@uakron.edu Title: Commuter Student Assistant Hometown: Columbus, OH I am currently the President of the University of Akron Gospel Choir and I’m pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Physical Therapy. I plan to become a physical therapist so that I can serve people in need of help.
	Name: Nick Doehring E-mail: slcommuter4@uakron.edu Title: Commuter Student Assistant of Programming Hometown: Sheffield Lake, OH I am working towards a Bachelor's degree in History and a minor in Political Science. I'm also a high school/NCAA baseball umpire and a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. I enjoy my position as head of programming in Commuter Central and I love to hear from our commuters about ideas for future events.
