Hello!
Email Cristin Cotter at uaphcrecruitment@gmail.com for upcoming dates!
On behalf of The University of Akron Panhellenic Council, I would like to thank you in your interest in Greek Life.
There are five National Panhellenic Conference chapters on our campus. All chapters
have purposes based on bettering each woman within the organization. The Panhell
enic Council is the governing body for the five sororities on our campus. Panhellenic Council is governed upon four pillars, which includes scholarship, leadership, philanthropy, and sisterhood. It is these values that unite us within the Greek community.
Last semester the PHC Community achieved an average GPA of 3.04, compared to the all-women’s GPA of 2.81. As a community we worked to raise $13,000 and donated almost 3,700 hours of community service. While maintaining academic excellence, our community consistently supports, through both service and financial donations, organizations in Akron and the surrounding area.
While we all are based on the same ideals, each chapter is unique and has something different to offer to its members. A sorority is an amazing experience to be a part of! If you are interested in joining one of our five amazing sororities this spring, please feel free to contact me with any questions. We will be holding formal recruitment in the fall semester. If you plan on waiting for the experience that formal recruitment offers, I look forward to meeting you then. Regardless of when you decide to join our community, I cannot wait to show you all that Greek Life has to offer. It is truly the experience of a lifetime!
Loyally,
Cristin Cotter
