November 1–30
Each November serveAkron holds a donation drive to support those in need especially during the holiday season and winter months. In the past, we have had a giving tree and collected hats and scarves that were donated to a local nonprofit organization.

A week-long event held in November, Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week brings greater attention to the difficulties that the homeless and hungry face on a daily basis and helps to promote the national endeavor to end hunger and homelessness.
