 The Marketing Area in the Department of Student Life is dedicated to providing the students and staff of The University of Akron with up-to-date information about events sponsored by the Department of Student Life, Student Union, and their affiliates. Using students employed under the LEGO program to implement and design advertising for these events, the Marketing Area serves the needs of such organizations as ZPN, Commuter Central, the InfoCenter, and other similar organizations housed through the Student Union. Our goal is to market these events in an effective, cost-efficient manner to the general populous at The University of Akron, and afterwards collect feedback to improve our marketing techniques. With our constant drive to improve our education, our department, and our University, our employees in the marketing area bring what they learn in the classroom to new heights in a real-life, fast-paced environment to help improve ourselves, and those around us.
