national-volunteer-week

National Volunteer Week is about inspiring, recognizing and encouraging people to seek out imaginative ways to engage in their communities. It’s about demonstrating to the nation that by working together, we have the fortitude to meet our challenges and accomplish our goals.

The UA community is welcome to participate in a variety of drop-in service projects in the Student Union as well as off-campus experiences at St. Bernard’s Church, One of a Kind Pets, and St. Mary’s Church. The third annual Cuts for Cause, a hair donation event benefitting the Wigs for Kids and Pantene Beautiful Lengths program to help create wigs for cancer patients. Also, a clothing donation drive will be held during the week to  provide items to victims of sexual assault. Drop off items to the Center for Service and Leadership throughout the week.
