Weekday Service events occur during the week. These events are usually monthly and occur at various times. These experiences are shorter in time length (usually 2 hours) and, similar to Super Service Saturdays, we volunteer with a variety of local community agencies.

Spring 2012 Weekday Service Opportunities:
February 19: Mature Services
Volunteer with Mature Services from 2pm-4pm! Volunteer opportunities will include cleaning and organizing the Mature Services office location. Mature Services is a non-profit agency founded in 1975. As a non-profit, Mature Services promotes successful aging by providing the highest quality programs and services to support, strengthen, and empower adults as they age.
March 6: Ronald McDonald House
10 volunteers needed for Ronald McDonald House from 2pm-4pm! Ronald McDonald House, established in 1985, is “a home away from home for families of patients being treated at Akron Children's Hospital.”
April 16: Ohio and Erie Canalway Coalition
Established in 1989, Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition is a private, non-profit organization providing “educational programs, events and publications about the Heritage Canalway while developing strong working relationships with partners to preserve and interpret the natural, historical and recreational resources throughout the corridor.” Volunteer with Ohio and Erie Canalway Coalition from 2pm-4pm.
