THE UNIVERSITY OF AKRON AUXILIARY BUSINESS OPERATIONS

Auxiliary Business Operations is involved with a wide variety of entities, including dining service, concessions, retail stores, vending, zip card, printing services, and catering.

The department has participated with various student organizations in their fund raising efforts. The type of activities range from a group working in a concession stand at an athletic event or concert to fund raisers selling flowers, gifts, candy, meal plans, sweatshirts, apparel, and other products.

As a University department, they seek to support the mission of the institution and in particular, support the students in any way possible.

Auxiliary Business Operations would be very happy to more fully discuss fund raising objectives with your student organization(s) and pursue a plan to provide needed service to the campus community and generate funds for the organization.

In addition, they can also evaluate offers being made to student organizations by outside vendors. Many times the manufacturers contact Auxiliary Business Operations as well as student groups concurrently.

Please contact Dean Goumas, Director, Auxiliary Business Operations, at (330) 972-7645 for any further information.
