During my time between graduating from Winthrop University and starting at The University of Akron I took up cake decorating and began it sell them to my friends and family to make money on the side. I love to create things by making something beautiful out of something raw, so this was the perfect hobby for me. I even ended up making my own wedding cake.
I also have a Pomeranian (Name: Brunson) that takes up a lot of my time at home, when I am there; and is a joy to have to bring play into my day, which everyone needs. I also like to spend any free time I have with my family and husband who are my support and I would not have the opportunity to be in school without them.
Akron is new to me and the campus is different from what I am used to but what I like is the fact that the people are welcoming and supportive. Whenever I am lost or have a question there is always someone around willing to help me.
