


The Crystal Room Bistro is located in Gallucci Hall on Grant Street (off Exchange) in Akron, Ohio. The Bistro is operated by Hospitality Management students and is supervised by highly skilled faculty and staff of Summit College's Hospitality Management Program.
Our menu offers a wide variety of excellent choices including wings, quesadillas, homemade soups, salads, specialty sandwiches, wraps, Pannini's, and daily lunch specials prepared and served by our students. Delicious! Carry-out orders are also available when you're running the fast pace.
Our students study and work under the direct supervision of certified chefs. The Bistro offers a professional and comfortable "come as you are" atmosphere for everyone. The Bistro is also available for special events or meetings — large or small. Let us be your event planner!
Our Thursday evening "Talk of the Town" run from 5:30-7:15; reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 330-972-6615.
Each week's menu will be an exquisite dining experience. Seating (reservations highly recommended) begins at 5:30 p.m. through 7:15 p.m.
All dining operations - from food preparation to service, are performed by Hospitality Management students under the close supervision of Chef Mark Kent, Chef and Visiting Assistant Professor Andrew Mikuszewski; Chef Emeritus Dick Alford, Professor and Chef Larry Gilpatric, Professor Jamal Feerasta, and Assistant Professor Timothy Mehlberg.
