The Geographic and Land Information Systems (GIS/LIS) Associate Degree Program is designed to prepare graduates to enter the job market as GIS/LIS technicians for business and industry. Emphasis of the curriculum is on understanding digital geographic data, hands-on software use in solving geographic problems and graphic communications techniques.

Industry Advisory Committee: A dedicated group of industry professionals serves as advisors to the GIS/LIS and Surveying and Mapping and Programs. The advisory committee meets at least twice annually to suggest and review changes to the curriculum and to discuss other important developments with the programs.
