Airline-crash survivor Kendra St. Charles will present a lecture titled “Out of the Flames: A Personal Journey from Victim to Advocate” at 2:30 p.m. Friday, April 20, in the Taylor Institute, Polsky 567.
In 1992, St. Charles was aboard Cleveland-bound USAir Flight 405 when it crashed on takeoff from New York LaGuardia. At UA, she will discuss her role as a victim and an advocate for airline passengers.
The talk is free and open to the public.
