What is College Tech Prep?

College Tech Prep is a national initiative that works with secondary Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs to create meaningful pathways to postsecondary education. The state of Ohio has implemented a vision for education which includes “Tech Prep for All”.

By 2014, all CTE secondary programs in Ohio must transition to Tech Prep standards. This means that every secondary CTE program must connect with a postsecondary partner to create a pathway option for students.
