The Faculty Laptop Refresh initiative is underway.
After scheduling an appointment to pick up the new laptop, gather up the old laptop, any power adapters for it and any docking stations you may have. You will bring all these to the Computer Center on your scheduled data and exchange them for your new system.
Additional considerations should be made for your personal data saved on the old computer. You will want to back this data up the H drive or to an external data storage device. You should also be aware that the new Windows computers come with Windows7 and some of the older printers on campus are not compatible with the new OS.
