Registering for classes

All students new to The University of Akron must attend a mandatory orientation program in the months prior to their first semester at UA. The program for transfer students is called Transfer Transition. At Transfer Transition, you will meet with your academic adviser, register for classes, receive a Zip Card (student ID), get answers to your questions and much more. You can learn more about Transfer Transition by contacting the Office of New Student Orientation at 330-972-5347 or visiting www.uakron.edu/accepted.
