Thanks to everyone that helped make this year’s WRD5 Science Day a success!
The Western Reserve District 5 Science Day is one of the 16 District Science Fairs held in Ohio each spring under the Ohio Junior Academy on Science. This year The University of Akron's Department of Polymer Science hosted the 66th Annual Western Reserve District Science Day on Saturday, March 21.
Students in grades 5-12 prepared projects in one of the following areas: behavioral and social sciences, biochemistry, botany, chemistry, computers, earth and space sciences, engineering, environmental sciences, mathematics, medicine, microbiology, physics, or zoology.
We had a 314 projects this year, and competition was tough, but hopefully all enjoyed the experience and will grow from their experience.
