Humanities Fundamentals

Humanities entails the study of cultures, modern languages, the classics, English, philosophy, anthropology and archaeology.

  • Coursework prepares you to:
    • examine philosophical theories and topics in ethics and logic
    • build bilingual skills through composition, conversation, literature and linguistics
    • round out program with upper-level courses in creative and dramatic arts, history and English

Professional Preparation

A bachelor’s degree often serves as a foundation for graduate studies in an area of humanities, law, business
or the arts.

Real-world Experience

Gain practical professional experience through UA's optional cooperative education program in the applied mathematics field of your choice. Through co-op, you’ll alternate semesters of work and school while earning a competitive salary.

Depending on your professional interest, you should consider a co-op assignment in the legal profession, business, schools or government.
