Register for spring classes; how your student can save thousands Class registration for spring 2016 has begun. Students can view their assigned enrollment appointment day and time in My Akron Student Center. Before students leave campus for a well-deserved winter break, make sure they have scheduled their spring 2016 classes, and have signed up for at least 15/16 credit hours, if possible. Taking 15/16 hours a semester in fall and spring will help them graduate on time, with less debt and join the workforce sooner. Students can save thousands by getting FIT, or "Finishing In Time." See the video and how much can be saved. Billing for spring semester The due date (to have made the payment in full or to sign up for the payment plan) for the spring 2016 semester is Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016. Information about the FAFSA and financial aid disbursement for spring will be in the December newsletter. Final exam schedule Final exams are scheduled for Dec. 14-20. Exams are almost always scheduled for a different time and location than the normal class meeting. Students should follow these steps to get their exam schedule, or ask their instructors when they return from Thanksgiving break.
