The Bridging Engineering, Science and Technology (BEST) Medicine engineering fair, Northeast Ohio’s premier engineering fair devoted exclusively to students interested in exploring biomedical engineering, brings together the most talented and innovative students to interact with each other and with leaders in medical device research and development.

designed to inspire students to:

participate in the biomedical engineering and medical science fields

present and write logical arguments based on substantive claims, sound reasoning, and relevant evidence

evaluate and present increasingly complex information

grow vocabularies in the areas of science, engineering, and medicine
-
develop familiarity with 21st century media and technology
-
practice applying mathematical ways of thinking to real world issues and challenges

become familiar with engineering design and its process

become proficient at testing a concept and improving ideas for new medical devices

2016 BEST Entrepreneurship Camp
Eligibility, Rules, and Guidelines
Open to students in grades 6-12 at any public, private, parochial, or home school. All BEST Medicine projects should include an engineering approach to solve a medical problem.
