New Freshman Advancement Scholarship

Five $500 scholarships will be awarded to new full-time first-year students who have participated in a high school Career Technical Education program and will be continuing in their related degree pathway within the College.

Requirements

  • Participated in a high school CTE program
  • Continuing in CAST pathway
  • Application and letters of recommendation
  • GPA of at least 3.0 and ACT of at least 21
  • Full-time student
  • Renewable for 4 to 8 continuous semesters as determined by the degree pathway

STEM Achievement Scholarship

Five $500 scholarships will be awarded to new full-time first-year associate-degree students and/or transfer students pursuing a bachelor's degree in Engineering and Science Technology (EST), Computer Information Systems (CIS), Fire Protection Technology (Fire), or Emergency Management and Homeland Security (EMHS).

Requirements

  • EST, CIS, Fire, or EMHS program
  • Application and letters of recommendation
  • GPA of at least 3.0 and ACT of at least 21
  • Full-time student
  • Renewable for 4 continuous semesters
  • New student pursuing an associate degree pathway and/or a new or transfer student pursuing a bachelor's degree pathway

Targeted Excellence Scholarships

Two $500 scholarships will be awarded to targeted student groups, including but not limited to students affiliated with an area community agency, foster care students who have timed out of the system, first-generation students, and other adults.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated need
  • Application and letters of recommendation
  • GPA of at least 3.0 and ACT of at least 21
  • Full-time or part-time student
  • Renewable for 4 continuous semesters
  • Interested applicants identified by community partnerships
