The George W. Daverio School of Accountancy at The University of Akron invites tax professionals and accountants to the National Tax Conference in Honor of Al Lieberman (36th annual) on September 23, 2014 at the DoubleTree Hotel, 6200 Quarry Lane, Independence, Ohio 44131.

The conference agenda begins with a continental breakfast and registration at 7:45. The program starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m. Lunch, which is included free with registration, is scheduled for 11:45 a.m.

The conference, an outreach activity of the Daverio School, is designed to update tax practitioners in the accounting, legal, business, and governmental sectors. Prominent tax specialists and national experts will discuss new developments, tax-saving ideas, current issues, and changes in the federal, state and local tax laws. The morning session of this year’s conference will focus on Economic and Tax Aspects of LLCs, and the afternoon session will address Current Development topics of interest to practitioners.

The Conference qualifies for 8 hours of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credit and 7 hours of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit in Ohio.

Registration fees are $175 per attendee and $95 for each additional attendee from the same firm. The registration fee covers all conference materials as well as continental breakfast and lunch.
