The George W. Daverio School of Accountancy - One Degree with 360 Degrees of Opportunity

Save The Date: Orientation for Future Accounting & Tax Professionals

August 22, 2017

All School of Accountancy students and others with an interest in accounting or tax are expected to participate in the Orientation for Future Accounting & Tax Professionals. This event is designed to benefit all students in accounting and tax. Freshmen and sophomores will find the event to be highly beneficial, as it will introduce them to the profession, the School, and key contacts in the professional community.

It also offers the opportunity to participate in professional mentorships with the firms. Upper-level and graduate students are offered networking opportunities and knowledge of professional issues that they would not ordinarily learn in a classroom (e.g., regulation in Ohio, key developments nationally that affect the profession, Ohio ethics rules and enforcement, trends, etc.).
