Congratulations Rachel Tecca: Great in the Classroom and on the Basketball Court

CBA Student and University of Akron basketball senior forward Rachel Tecca was named to the Academic All-America second team. Rachel is the first player in Akron women’s basketball history to earn Academic All-American status and the only player in the MAC to earn the honor this year.

Rachel is a three-time MAC East Player of the Week this season. She graduated in December with 3.89 GPA and a bachelor’s in marketing management and is currently working on her MBA.
