2012 CBA Dean’s Excellence Awards

Winners of the 2012 CBA Dean’s Excellence Awards were announced and recognized at the annual CBA banquet on May 5, 2012.

For the first time since the Excellence Awards were established in 2008, one faculty member was selected for two awards.  Debmalya Mukherjee, assistant professor of management, received both the Teaching Excellence Award and the Research Excellence Award.

The recipient of the Service Excellence Award was Alvin Lieberman, associate professor of accounting and coordinator of taxation studies.

Myra Weakland, assistant director of graduate business programs, was the first recipient of the Staff Excellence Award which recognizes outstanding contributions by the CBA’s administrative staff.

Selected by a committee of their peers, honorees receive a commemorative wall plaque and a $1,500 stipend.
