Biography

Dr. Haritos joined The University of Akron in 2003 as the Dean of the College of Engineering, a role he held for 12 years. Prior to coming to UA, he served with the Air Force in Aerospace Structures Design and Analysis and in research and development. Dr. Haritos is a Fellow with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and an Associate Fellow with the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. He is a member of the American Academy of Mechanics, the American Society for Engineering Education, and the Air Force Association.
