Research Interests

My research interests center around interfaces between different materials, particularly polymers, and how to use this understanding in the advanced manufacturing of functional materials. The focus of my research program is on fundamental phenomenon, but in the context to improve the mechanical stability of nanostructures, moisture resistance of adhesives, performance of battery electrodes, sensitivity of sensors for energy and human health applications, and performance of 3D printed plastics and composites.
