OAE testing prior to student teaching
Spring 2018 Student Teachers must complete their OAE Content test by December 15, 2017,* in order to have the test scores reported to us prior to our deadline. Please allow enough time to retake the test in the event that you do not pass the first time. Students who do not pass their OAE content test (or tests for double majors, or Middle Child licensure) will not be cleared for Student Teaching and must petition for provisional approval through the Complaint Resolution Process. There is no longer an appeals process. All requirements for student teaching must be completed by January 5, 2018.
Here are the test periods. In order to have your OAE test(s) result(s) sent to the LJFF College of Education in 2017, you must take your test(s) no later than November 19, 2017. All tests taken October 23 to November 19 will have their scores reported on December 1, 2017. These will be the last scores sent in 2017.
