Presentation at 2020 Virtual Conference of The Ohio Council for the Social Studies
The Think Tank to Shark Tank materials were developed through several iterations of hosting a Think Tank to Shark Tank summer camp beginning in 2014 at the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio. Through generous funding from Burton D. Morgan Foundation in 2019, the student materials, videos, and website were created.
The University’s Barker Center for Economic Education and the Urban STEM Center partnered together to create these materials. They can also offer consultation or professional development on the facilitation of the materials to either informal camp settings or to teachers for implementation within the classroom.
