All engineering majors whether you're an incoming freshman, a transfer student or current student, are welcome to apply every year. There are many scholarship opportunities available for upperclassmen.
There are 440 donor-named scholarships totaling $770,000 given out to engineering students each year.
Note: If you are chosen for a scholarship for the upcoming academic year, you will receive a congratulatory email in the spring.
The scholarship application is now open. Students have until March 7, 2021 to submit their application.

UA offers the Akron Guarantee Scholarship (AGS) to qualified students. You are automatically considered for this unique scholarship simply by applying to UA. The AGS increases as you earn credits, and it renews yearly so long as you remain in good academic standing. Learn more about the Akron Guarantee Scholarship.
The College of Engineering and Polymer Science Student Assistance Fund was created to provide emergency funding to students when unexpected events threaten to disrupt or prevent a student's educational pursuit. Awards may be used for tuition, fees, room and board, and books. Learn more and apply.
The College is now offering Opportunity Scholarships for students transferring from community college to the aerospace systems engineering, civil engineering, corrosion engineering, construction engineering technology, mechanical engineering or surveying and mapping programs for fall 2021.
