College Scholarships

The University of Akron is proud to offer an exceptional education that is accessible through scholarships and financial aid opportunities. Scholarships are available for students in the College of Engineering and Polymer Science throughout their college career as they continue to demonstrate academic success. We encourage students in good academic standing to apply for engineering scholarships.

Donor-Named Scholarships

We are thankful for the generosity of our alumni, friends, and industry partners who have invested in our students by establishing these scholarships.

All students in the College of Engineering and Polymer Science, including incoming first-year students, transfer students and current students, are welcome to apply every year.

The College of Engineering and Polymer Science private and endowed scholarship application for 2023-2024 is open. All students with majors in our College are invited to apply; please note that you must use your UAnet id and password to access the application.

Apply for CEPS private and endowed scholarships for AY23-24

Some private and endowed scholarships are managed by UA, and so we recommend that you also fill out UA’s private and endowed scholarship application. A link is available on the UA scholarship page.

If you are chosen for a scholarship for the upcoming academic year, you will receive a congratulatory email in the spring.

Complete this application by January 9, 2023 for first consideration for scholarships; final deadline is March 1, 2023.
