Alpha Omega Dukes Memorial Fiction Writer Award

This prize honors the memory of Alpha Omega Dukes, the cherished relative of a University of Akron faculty member.

Prize: $100

Who can enter:

 Any UA undergraduate student.

Submission Guidelines:

• Submit one short story or novel excerpt to the the “Alpha Omega Dukes Prize” mailbox in the English Department.

Requirements:

• Provide a separate cover sheet with "Alpha Omega Dukes Prize 2012" typed at the top, along with the title of the story or novel excerpt, the writer's name, level (grad or undergrad), postal address, email, and phone number.
• The story or novel excerpt itself should appear without any identifying information (do not put your name anywhere on the manuscript).
• Number the pages.
