Tryouts announced for our five varsity esports teams

I'm excited to announce that we have posted the tryout applications for our five varsity esports teams. All enrolled students and students who will enroll here this fall welcome to try out. (If you are not a student here, consider attending our Spring Visit Day on April 21; I'll be there.)
Applications
For each game, a 5-hour tryout session has been scheduled during the month of April. Applications for each game will close the Sunday before tryouts are held for that game at 11:59 p.m. Then on the Wednesday of that games respective tryout week, a select pool of applicants will receive an email invitation to participate in online tryouts. This email invitation will include a link to a Discord server that applicants will be asked to join in order to communicate with their tryout team. The particular format of tryouts for each game will be discussed on the day. However, all applicants should expect to be matched with a team of other hopefuls of and asked to play several games over the course of the session while either recording their gameplay and audio or having a tryout admin record it for them. Space will be provided on The University of Akron campus for players who want to bring their PCs in order to be on a reliable network connection. The location will be disclosed in the invitation to tryouts. Below is a specified list of dates and times for each game:
Hearthstone
Applications Close: April 1

Online Tryouts Held: April 7, 12 - 5 p.m.
League of Legends
Applications Close: April 8
Tryout Invitations Sent: April 11
Online Tryouts Held: April 14, 12 - 5 p.m.
CSGO
Applications Close: April 8
Tryout Invitations Sent: April 11
Online Tryouts Held: April 15, 12 - 5 p.m.
Rocket League
Applications Close: April 15
Tryout Invitations Sent: April 18
Online Tryouts Held: April 21, 12 - 5 p.m.
Overwatch
Applications Close: April 15
Tryout Invitations Sent: April 18
Online Tryouts Held: April 22, 12 - 5 p.m.
