THE UASIS MISSION

The mission of the University of Akron Student Innovation Symposium: A Showcase of Research is to display creativity and scholarly excellence amongst undergraduate and graduate students. To promote student initiative and curiosity, oral and written communication, academic and professional development, and the advancement of interdisciplinary knowledge. To encourage productive collaboration with faculty mentors and invest in preparing students for future success in innovation and research. To support the enhancement of the Akron community through relevant and valuable research contributions.
