All Family Medical Leaves are administered by FMLASource

Effective Wednesday, June 1, 2022 we are pleased to announce that family medical leaves will be administered by FMLASource on behalf of The University of Akron. Having FMLASource administer family medical leave offers many benefits to UA employees. These include increased efficiencies, by offering more ways to open cases, and longer customer service hours available to employees.

Cases will no longer be opened in EmpCenter. All existing cases will be transitioned to FMLASource. If you have an existing case, you will be emailed directly with the transition information.
