Accrediting body seeks comments about quality of UA

The University of Akron is seeking comments about the University from the public in preparation for its periodic evaluation by its regional accrediting agency.

UA will host a team representing the Higher Learning Commission on Feb. 12-15, 2017.

The team will review the institution’s ongoing ability to meet the commission’s Criteria for Accreditation.

UA has been accredited by the HLC since 1914.

Comments must address substantive matters related to the quality of the institution or its academic programs. Comments must be in writing.
