The University of Akron is pleased to announce PNC Bank, N.A. (PNC) as a 2018/2019 Corporate Season Sponsor for E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall. Support from PNC will help Thomas Hall and UA continue to provide quality fine arts programming to students and the community and will enhance PNC’s presence on campus as our official financial services provider.

“We believe in the power of the arts to educate and enlighten individuals, and to bring the community together in unique ways,” said Kevin Thompson, PNC regional president for Akron. “At E.J. Thomas Hall, UA students can hone their craft and local residents can enjoy a variety of arts performances. It’s a true staple of the community.”

As the official financial banking institution of UA since 2012, PNC offers corporate and individual banking services on campus through its ATMs and electronic financial services center in Jean Hower Taber Student Union. In addition, PNC provides on-site customer service representatives and offers free financial wellness workshops for students

“PNC has been a trusted banking partner of the University for a number of years and we are grateful that they value the programming offered at E.J. Thomas Hall,” said Kim Cole, vice president of development and executive director of the UA Foundation. “Not only does PNC recognize the value of arts, but they also serve as a trusted educational partner, offering financial learning and planning tools to prepare our students for a secure financial future.
