Placement Testing Information

Welcome to the University of Akron!  The intent of the placement testing process is to place you appropriately into a mathematics, reading, writing or computer literacy course with a reasonable chance of success.

You will receive information and access for placement testing through New Student Orientation, Academic Advising, Admissions or Academic units.  These offices will provide you information on which placement test(s) you will need.

How do I complete my placement testing?
