Biography

Se-ryeon "Ryan" Song, a member of the faculty at Kyung Hee University School of Law, holds a J.D. from Boston College, an M.P.P. from Harvard University, and a B.S. from Boston College. Prof. Song teaches Anglo-American Law, Contracts and Mergers and Acquisition for the Law School. His interest areas also include Corporate Governance, Corporate social responsibility, Business and human rights, as well as Science and technology policy in the context of emerging global governance system. Within the University, he advises the president as a policy advisor on international matters. Externally, he serves as a board member for Korean Human Rights Foundation, advises several corporations, and makes regular appearances in the media as a commentator and/or host of current affairs programs. His previous professional endeavors include management consulting at McKinsey & Company, corporate law practice at Hong & Chang in Los Angeles, and as a community activist/organizer after the L.A. riots, working for KAGRO.
